About Ravenmere
An independent Australian travel and hospitality review publication.
Independent by Design
Ravenmere is an independent Australian travel and hospitality review publication. We review hotels, analyse hospitality experiences, explore destinations and evaluate accommodation — and we publish our own editorial opinions, clearly separated from verified facts.
We do not represent the hotels we review. We are not a booking platform, a marketing agency or an affiliate portal. Our reviews are written from a traveller's perspective, with the aim of helping readers understand what a property is actually like to stay in — its setting, its design, its accommodation, its leisure facilities and its atmosphere.
Where information is verified, we say so. Where a detail cannot be independently confirmed, we use neutral wording rather than filling the gap with assumption. We distinguish between the hotel accommodation we are reviewing and any wider resort, dining or entertainment precinct it sits within, because those layers shape the guest experience differently.
What We Do
- ✦Review hotels and resort accommodation
- ✦Analyse hospitality experiences and service
- ✦Explore destinations and their attractions
- ✦Evaluate accommodation categories objectively
- ✦Publish independent editorial opinions
- ✦Distinguish editorial opinion from verified fact
What We Do Not Claim
We do not claim professional certifications, official tourism memberships, industry awards, partnerships or hotel affiliations unless specifically provided to us. Our editorial scores are our own assessments and are not presented as external review-platform ratings.
Independence
We are not affiliated with, owned by or operated by the properties we review.
Accuracy
We use verified information and avoid fabrication of facts, prices or amenities.
Balance
Every review includes strengths and limitations, not just promotion.
Transparency
Editorial opinions are labelled as such and kept separate from verified facts.
Responsible Editorial Standards
Because some properties we cover include adult entertainment as part of a wider integrated resort, we include responsible gaming information where relevant. We do not promote gambling, offer bonuses, provide betting strategies or host affiliate links. Gaming content is kept secondary to the accommodation and travel experience, and is presented neutrally for adult readers only.
